SOUTHBRIDGE GARDEN CUP WINNER APRIL OAKLEY
Our very own April Oakley won the Snr Garden Cup with the Southbridge School Gorgeous Garden Competition, sponsored by Oakleys, (and no Robin was not the judge.)
Mrs Cooper choose Aprils' garden for her varied produce content and her knowledge of her own home garden. Well done April !!!!

YOUNG NZ VEGETABLE GROWER OF THE YEAR 2009 NIGEL MCCARTIN. (Production Manager)
Nigel ( below) competed with other NZ entrants in the Young Grower of the Year competition in July at the HORT NZ Annual Conference in Christchurch. He was placed second.
And In May Nigel entered the Young Vegetable Grower of the Year competition. This is his third year as an entrant and he has made us all proud every time, this year he took out the winners title.
In 2007 Nigel also won the Matson and Allan Young Farmer merit trophy.
ELLESMERE A & P SHOW
Oakleys Premium Fresh Vegetables were WINNERS again at the Ellesmere A & P show 2010 AGAIN, winning the R. G . Robinson Trophy for most points in Potatoes and Roots - most points in section, since 2006 .

Oakleys sponsors a prize in part of the Wearable Arts at the Ellesmere A&P Show, pictured on the right, above.
